Karl Ohlemann  Founder | CEO

Karl was born into the construction business. For generations, Karl's family was heavily involved in the lumber industry. His Grandfather, Nils Arthur Bernard Hult, held title of President of the West Coast Lumbermen’s Association and the National Lumber Manufacturers Association, among others. During Karl's youth, his father, Sig Ohlemann, built many high-end homes in the Pacific Northwest. Karl and his wife Stacey founded and built one of the largest, most modern and successful Design Centers on the West Coast (Macadam Floor and Design - Seattle). For the last 25+ years, including over 17 years as a General Contractor, Karl has combined his business expertise and design philosophy with full interior construction on close to 10,000 homes in Washington and Oregon.

Stacey also grew up in the design trade, helping run the family's expansive high-end flooring and design businesses started by her father in the mid-1970's. She has over 25 years of experience, working with national home builders and renown designers as well as creating design centers. She leads the team in design and marketing services. With a background in building, not only is she able to talk you through the bottom line, she's happy to lend you her 'eye' as well! 

The Ohlemanns moved to the historic mining town of Roslyn, WA in 2019 and have three incredible daughters, Emerson, Sydney, and Presley, and an adorable miniature Goldendoodle named Rover.
